At the Way Community Church we believe in dedicating our children to the Lord. We recognize that a child is a gift from God. Therefore, during the dedication ceremony, parents publicly commit to raise their child according to God’s Word and His ways. Dedication is not a sacrament or a replacement for baptism. We baptize children when they are ready to accept Christ for themselves. Children two years of age and under are eligible for Baby Dedication. Parents must take an online class before participating in Baby Dedications at The Way. Baby Dedication is part of the Membership Engagement Ministry.

At the Way Community Church we encourage each new believer to respond in obedience to Christ’s command to be baptized. Baptism allows the new believer to publicly identify as a follower of Christ and to symbolically identify with His death, burial, and resurrection. At The Way, we baptize every third Sunday by immersion after a person has confessed Christ as Lord and Savior. This ministry is facilitated by the Deaconesses of The Way and is a part of the Membership Engagement Ministry.

The Care and Counseling Ministry at The Way Community Church believes in the transformative power of God's comfort and compassion. Our ministry is rooted in II Corinthians 1:3-4 and our goal is to embody the love and care of our Heavenly Father by providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals facing various life challenges and struggles.

At the heart of our ministry is the understanding that God comforts us in all our troubles so that we may, in turn, extend that same comfort to others. Whether you are experiencing emotional distress, relational difficulties, grief, mental health concerns, or simply navigating the complexities of life, our dedicated team is here to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and restoration.

The primary purpose of this ministry is to lead people to establish a personal relationship with Christ and to help those believers who join our fellowship at The Way Community Church to engage in an effective way that leads to spiritual growth. Decision Counselors share the gospel with those who do not know Christ and invite them to receive Him as Lord and Savior. For those who already have a relationship with Christ, Decision Counselors will explain what it means to be a member of The Way. This includes how to access Realm, how to register for Baptism and Starting Point new member’s class, and how to join a Life Group. Our prayer is that new members will feel cared for and will be encouraged to find their place in ministry and service at The Way. Decision Counseling is part of the Membership Engagement Ministry.
