The purpose of this ministry is to provide training and support for spiritual growth through Life Groups and Wayfinder training. Life Groups meet each week in small group relational environments to study the word and to encourage and support each other through the journey of life. Wayfinder training involves learning how to show people the way to life with Jesus.  The training consists of a series of classes and relational opportunities to help believers understand discipleship. They are equipped to not only become disciples but also to make disciples. Upon completion of this training, Wayfinders are equipped to lead Life Groups and to facilitate classes at The Way.

To volunteer for this ministry, you must become a certified Wayfinder. Training will begin again this fall for those interested.

The primary aim of the Guest Services Ministry is to create a warm and welcoming environment for all first-time visitors at The Way Community Church. Our purpose goes beyond just expressing gratitude; we strive to ensure that each newcomer feels genuinely valued and acknowledged. We are dedicated to facilitating a personal connection with every guest, emphasizing that they are seen and recognized as important members of our community.

To achieve this, we go the extra mile by assisting guests in completing the necessary steps, such as responding to prompts for texting their information. This ensures they are seamlessly included in our follow-up process, where they can expect a personalized and timely call. Guests also receive a small token of thanks which includes a handwritten note, a TWCC armband, a TWCC pen, and a business card with our QR code and SM information to ensure they connect while visiting. Our commitment is to make sure every guest feels engaged and informed about the resources and support available to them within our church.

Furthermore, Guest Services is not only a point of contact for expressing gratitude but also a valuable resource for information for all congregants.

The Intercessory Prayer ministry consists of a group of devoted and unified individuals who come together and pray on a regular basis, with the goal of interceding for our Pastor and first family, Board of Directors, church staff, ministries, leaders, the church's congregation, its visitors, the community, the sick/ shut ins, the bereaved, friends, and one another. The ministry intercedes through spirit-filled prayer based on God's Word for God's people.  The ministry also stands in the gap with those who desire for the church to come alongside them as they seek guidance, comfort, peace and God's will for their lives.
